Direct link page
Give a form its own page inside your theme, with a link for emails, social posts and QR codes.
With a direct link, a form gets its own page in your theme, header and footer included. You do not touch the theme editor: you only share the link, for example in emails, social posts or QR codes.
Turn it on
- In the form editor, set Show on your store as to Link page.
- Save the form to activate it.
- On the Display tab, copy the Link to the form.
The link has this shape:
https://your-store.com/apps/workflow-forms/f/contact
contact is the form's handle. If you change the handle, the link changes with it and the old link stops working.
How it looks
The page is rendered inside your theme, so it has your header, footer and fonts. The form uses the form's branding and your shop branding; there is no theme block on this page, so block settings do not apply. See Branding.
The editor's preview shows the page when the Link page pill is selected.
Good to know
- The link only works while Link page is selected and Form is live is on. Otherwise the page shows that the form is not available.
- The form is shown in the visitor's storefront language. See Languages.
- Hidden fields can pick up
utm_source,utm_campaignand the other UTM values from the link, so you can tell in a workflow which campaign a submission came from. See Fields and the field library. - Submissions from a link page are stored and sent to Shopify Flow like any other.
Next steps
- Add a form to your theme - put the form on an existing page.
- Popups - open the form over the page.
- Shopify Flow triggers - act on each submission.
