Plans and pricing

Copy page

The Workflow Forms plans and prices: Free, Starter and Unlimited, what counts as a submission, the rolling 30-day window and what happens at the limit.

Every plan includes all features and unlimited forms and fields. Plans differ only in how many submissions they include per rolling 30 days.

The plans

Plan Price Submissions per rolling 30 days
Free $0 100
Starter $9 per month 1,000
Unlimited $29 per month Unlimited

The plans are also shown on the app's Help page under Pricing and on the app's listing in the Shopify App Store. You change your plan in the Shopify admin, and the charge is part of your Shopify bill.

What counts

One submission is one form sent from your storefront and stored.

These do not count:

  • Submissions that are refused: invalid values, spam, too many attempts from one visitor.
  • Testing in the editor with Test like a visitor. Nothing is sent or stored there.
  • Send to Flow again on a submission that is already stored.
  • Reading or changing data over the Developer API or MCP.

Deleting a submission later does not give its slot back: it was stored and counted when it arrived.

The rolling 30 days

Usage is counted over the last 30 days, not per calendar month. Each submission leaves the count 30 days after it was stored, so room frees up continuously rather than on the first of the month.

The home page shows your Current plan and the Plan limit (30 days) with how much of it is used.

When the allowance is used up

New submissions are refused until the rolling 30-day window frees up or until you upgrade your plan. There are no charges beyond the plan price: a plan never costs more than its monthly price.

A refused submission is not stored; the visitor sees an error and can try again later. The Form submission rejected trigger starts with the reason quota. See Shopify Flow triggers.

On the Unlimited plan there is no limit, so submissions are never refused for this reason.

Usage emails

Under Notification settings on the home page you can choose to be emailed:

  • Quota warning - when your plan usage crosses a threshold you choose.
  • Quota exceeded - when forms start refusing submissions (usage at 100 %).
  • High failure rate - when an unusual share of submissions cannot be handed to Shopify Flow in a short window.

Notifications go to the shop owner's email by default. You can add further recipients; each one confirms their address first.
